Feedread is brilliant! I have tried so many and this is first that is truth in advertising. It is simple to understand but has all the necessary features such as allowing you to manually update feeds or set to what you want, and it also fades out articles when read so you know exactly which ones have been read. You would be surprised how many readers do not show you if something has been read or not! It is also so simple to change views for reading different types of feeds. So I want to say thank you very much to the developer!
One question, when I mark an article as “Star” is there a way to keep that article or save it, until I delete it myself? The way mine is working, when I mark the feed as “read”, then all the articles that are “Starred” then are also removed and I can’t get them again. Sometimes I would like to Star something and then read it when I have time, maybe a week later.

in options you have "never
in options you have "never hide starred news" in advanced tab..
but you need to have at least one article unread in that view/smartfeed if you have the option "hide read feeds on"
if you always want to see some articles, even if they are marked as read..move them to a archive..
