Dual monitors - FeedReader doesn't remember position

Hi!

I have two monitors. On the left I have my secondary monitor and on the right my primary monitor. I like having Feedreader open on the secondary monitor (left). The problem is that FeedReader doesn't agree with me on this and every time I restart it it opens on the primary monitor and has to be moved on the secondary one. Is there any way I can fix this? I'm running Vista Home Premium 64-bit.

Greetings, I older FR this

Greetings,

I older FR this was possible, but not in new ver>=3.12. We had problems with customers, who used also dual monitors. The problem was that, user dragged FR into second monitor. Next time when he started FR and second monitor was missing or turned off...FR application so to say dissaped. So we determined to use only primary monitor.

If you have good ideas, how to prevent this problem...

Possible workaround, you could change feedreader.ini with notepad...
search for data items, for example

Left=
Top=

Change left value so, that it shows up in secondary monitor, then make feedreader.ini to read-only file.

I'm not sure that this works 100%, but you could try.

Suggestion

I'd suggest simply adding an option to the tray icon that would bring FR to the selected monitor. It could be simply a button called "Switch monitor" that would alternate between monitor 1 and 2.

If this is not possible, then maybe it could be a button that brings FR to the primary monitor in case the user has dragged it to the second one, like "Show on primary monitor".

The tray icon would work because it's always on the primary monitor.
